Giving As A Spiritual Discipline - Another Form of Worship

Giving to God reminds us that he has given us everything we have and can be counted on to meet every need we will ever have. Giving back to him is an expression of gratitude and worship.

Why give money to the church? Because it is the right thing to do? A good write off? God needs it? The church expects it? To put it simply, it is what God says to do. He wants to us to give regularly, generously and sacrificially out of all he gives us. Not because God needs what we have, but because we need to give it. What we do with what we have directs our heart. Giving to God reminds us that he has given us everything we have and can be counted on to meet every need we will ever have. Giving back to him is an expression of gratitude and worship.

You probably noticed we do not pass an offering plate. Why? We want you to feel free to give from your heart as an act of worship. To do this you will find our giving box in the room where we worship each Sunday. You can also mail your check to the Creek office at 1717 N California Blvd Ste 3D, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Please contact us at 934-4321or thecreek@creeklife.org with questions.

All giving is confidential. You will receive quarterly reports of your giving.

Following the biblical model, The Creek gives 10 percent of our contributions to outside ministries and global missions.

In all, we diligently seek the will of God regarding our stewardship as a church.
