
Kurt Holm, Pastor
Kurt, his wife Melinda and two boys, Jordan and Taylor, ages 20 and 16, have lived in the Walnut Creek area for over 20 years. Kurt and Melinda met in college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and married two years later. After studying at North Park Seminary in Chicago, Kurt completed a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena. For 14 years he served Hillside Covenant Church in Walnut Creek as Pastor of Student Ministries. Melinda teaches her passion of vocal music with children at Indian Valley School in Walnut Creek and teaches private piano lessons. Kurt loves all sports and extreme adventures including the startup and leading of The Creek.
Chris Gothold, Associate Pastor of Worship and Community Outreach
Chris and his wife Kirsten had their first child, Johann Ezekiel, in April of 2008. Chris and Kirsten met while Chris was the interim High School pastor at Peninsula Covenant Church. After graduating from UOP with a music degree (concentration in trumpet), Chris has done full-time ministry as a youth pastor, camp pastor and worship leader, and has served various short-term stints overseas in Bosnia and Botswana. He continues to study at Fuller seminary and he and his wife have a passion for worship and a heart to see communities transformed. Chris loves the outdoors, including hiking, surfing, camping and backpacking

Sabrina Gilliam, Spiritual Formation
Sabrina and her husband, Terry, have been a part of The Creek since the early days. They and their two boys, Jackson and Carson, enjoy BBQing with friends in their backyard and spending time in Tahoe and Florida. Sabrina is working toward a master's degree in theology with a biblical studies emphasis at Fuller Theological Seminary. Her favorite things to do are reading the Bible first thing in the morning with a warm cup of coffee, exercising and sleeping.

Wayne Hofer, Spiritual Formation
Wayne and his wife Caron live in Martinez. They have been married nearly 37 years, have two married daughters, and three grand-daughters. At The Creek, Wayne serves on the spiritual formation staff team and the Leadership Team. He leads a men's life group, and with Caron, serves on The Creek hospitality team. Wayne retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2001 after 36 years as an electrical engineer. He is a fly fishing fanatic and enjoys woodworking. Wayne's passions for The Creek include strong godly leadership, church growth, and understanding of cultural issues that impact The Creek.
