What should I expect on a Sunday morning?

The Sunday service gathers people of all ages to experience the truths of Jesus Christ in a way that connects with and is relevant to life here in the Bay Area. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you can experience the love of God here at The Creek.

Music with an alternative sound, multi-media, drama and practical messages are elements of your experience. There's participatory singing during the service, but you're encouraged to just experience and think through what you're seeing and hearing.

You'll never be put on the spot, never singled-out and never embarrassed. You won't be asked to give money as a guest. Our hope is that you'll let the service be our gift to you.

Our Creekids program provides a rich experience for infants, toddlers and kids through fifth grade. This allows you to get the most from your experience while your child is receiving attentive care, fun and teaching.

The dress is casual. The service typically lasts just over an hour with coffee and refreshments following. We hope you'll make the effort to come.

The Creek's Story

A growing burden evolved into a passion to create a church that majored on authentic friendships, inward transformation and compassion for others. In 1999, this small group of people soon discovered that the richness of this community was in getting to be the church...not just attend it. It became clear church was experienced best when we were living it, not simply watching it. Everyone had a part to play.

Today this is still true. We are a community of friends experiencing the amazing love of God. We hope to express this love to one another and to those who are spiritually seeking. We hope you'll find The Creek a place to uncover the relevant truth of God, to do life together and extend this to friends, our surrounding community and world.

More than ever before, God is aiming us outward to invest our best beyond ourselves to a broader community and world that needs to see God's love on display. The call is to give ourselves away. We hope you'll partner with us in this faith adventure.
